  • How long has Eastern Royal been in business? We (Eastern Royal) have been in operation since 2008.
  • Do you hire contracted employees or full-time employees who have passed a comprehensive criminal and driving background screening? We do not use contract employees. Every employee is a direct company employee who undergoes a comprehensive criminal and driving background screening.
  • Does Eastern Royal own its own vehicles, or do you broker trips to outside vendors? Eastern Royal owns all our vehicles, and we conduct all our trips.
  • Is there a minimum age to travel? Yes. Passengers must be at least 21 years old to travel.
  • Is there a maximum weight limit? Yes. For everyone's safety, passengers must weigh 280 pounds or less.

How does the customer service team help me choose the right service?

Who staffs the medical transport vehicles, and what do they do on the trip?

Our vehicles are staffed by a professional two-person transport team: an experienced driver and a dedicated attendant. The team is responsible for driving, door-to-door mobility assistance, luggage help, and personal-care support such as diaper changing. Passengers manage their own personal medications or travel with an accompanying family member or caregiver. Passenger-supplied portable oxygen concentrators are supported via onboard 120V electrical outlets.

How are the medical transport vehicles equipped for safety and comfort?
